Best ever! And that light show by the Who! (Although I do think it's time for them to retire...)

Yes, it was kinda bad... I think I saw Roger move once, but it might have been just the camera jerking... He wasn't to happy  about the "concert" either!

I saw The Who in 1989 on their 25th Anniversary tour. That tour kicked off with a live radio simulcast of a concert in upstate NY... they sucked. They sounded really rusty and there were a lot of jokes going around, but by the time they played Miami about a month later they had gotten their act together and put on a great show. AFAIR, they said it was their best performance of the tour (some say that playing in SoFlo gave them access to "performance enhancing substances," which were quite readily available at the time).

Boring Trivia Dept: That was the first time I visited Joe Robbie Stadium (as it was called at the time), which is where the Super Bowl was play both this year and in 1989.

Had Joe not bought out his original partner it might have been called Danny Thomas Stadium, home of the Miami Marlos.
