definitely a problem at her end, not yours... she needs to go in and fix her settings... no doubt you can walk her though that, eh?

I wondered if you were affected - now I know. Hope things settle down quickly.

I just realized I missed one of mine too ... not in the opening but in the pictures...will fix it later today

Very cool .... I didn't take a picture of my card cuz I have no idea where hubby put it. Between him and very bratty puppies, nothing is where it is supposed to be anymore!

5
New stove and microwave are installed now - I have a few clear areas. Sort of.

Um... now to figure out how the heck to upload images in here.

I got mine too .... will get to pictures... uh... soon!  Aswell and Kalie think the bear is meant for them - they've each managed to take off with it once. And I love the flags!

Got the camera and the giftie - now if I just had a clear surface on which to put it to take the picture I would be all set.

Made by Vex ... I think they are only in Canada.

Come on up; I'll share.

They used to have several favours I liked but now down to just the one....and if they find out I like it, they'll probably discontinue it as well.

I'm working on a hangover for tomorrow... no particular reason other than that my bananatini coolers are going down sooooooooooooo well

Perhaps tardiness is a smartass trait?

Mine was a ~little~ late as well.. but I sent it air mail so it should get there with no problem, I hope!

10
yikes! Now I feel bad.... no extra goodies in the one I sent.

Dang ...I have RealPlayer and it will let me download almost any video I see online - but NOT the cbc ones...

Will see if I can find a way.

Mine is all done - first one didn't meet hubby's approval so he did another...which still is not quite perfect enough to suit him but is going in the mail anyway ...otherwise he will never move on to his next project and I will have a houseful of ornaments.

Worked out well though; one for me, one to send.  ;D

And back to the Ashley Smith story again - there was a second episode about it on CBC's The Fifth Estate last night - both it, and the previous one (Out of Control) are available online if anyone is interested.

I found them both extremely disturbing, but the first was, I think, the more powerful of the two - except for the showing of the actual video of Ashley's death, which was horrific.

http://www.cbc.ca/fifth/2010-2011/behindthewall/

After the first, the commentary from ~Joe Public~ was disgusting - people blaming Ashley herself, or her parents, and indulging in a great deal of really inappropriate name calling and so on. Very little response to this one so far - and, it seems, the people who are still following it and bothering to comment seem to be less viscious.

You could also do what Ross & I do and just blame Valerie for everything.
